Kyiv city health authorities confirmed eight people killed and five wounded. AP later reported at least 12 killed across Kyiv and the surrounding region. Ukrzaliznytsia said a ballistic missile struck a railway depot and other company premises, killing seven people, including six railway workers. Two rail sections were temporarily closed and later reopened.

At 16:28, Naftogaz confirmed that a Russian missile and drone attack damaged main and auxiliary equipment at Odesa CHP. Debris clearance and the technical assessment remain under way. The Odesa regional prosecutor's office said seven men were wounded, four of whom were hospitalized. Ukraine's State Border Guard Service said drones also damaged the Orlivka international ferry crossing on the Romanian border. Passenger and vehicle processing was suspended and traffic redirected to other crossings. Reuters also reported damage to export and port infrastructure.
