Three people were killed in Kyiv region, Sumy and Kharkiv. Later strikes in Sumy, Kharkiv and Pavlohrad injured 16 people. Two Nova Poshta sorting centres, a UNICEF aid warehouse and the Khortytsia distillery were destroyed. A Fozzy hypermarket and a YASNO warehouse were damaged, while rail delays persisted.
Strikes kill people in Kyiv region, Sumy and Kharkiv
Kyiv regional authorities said drone strikes killed one person and injured two, damaging 14 warehouse buildings, 16 private homes, three apartment buildings and 16 vehicles. Sumy regional authorities said a 61-year-old man was killed and seven people were wounded in a glide-bomb strike. A later strike in Sumy sent seven people to hospital, one in serious condition. Kharkiv regional authorities said a drone hit a filling station, killing one person; the injured count later rose to five. Four people were injured in Pavlohrad, three seriously. Zaporizhzhia regional authorities said a drone hit an Epicentr store, injuring four people and starting a fire covering about 2,000 square metres.
Authority updates after the morning report established three deaths and at least 29 injuries. Six separate strikes also damaged residential and commercial property.
Medical outcomes and the final extent of damage in Kyiv region, Sumy, Kharkiv, Pavlohrad and Zaporizhzhia had not been reported by 18:30.
Sorting centres and a UNICEF aid warehouse destroyed
Nova Poshta said its sorting centres in Sumy and Kyiv region were destroyed and all employees survived. The company said it would compensate the declared value of destroyed shipments. UNICEF said supplies for children and families at its Chubynske warehouse were destroyed. A Fozzy hypermarket in Vyshneve was damaged and closed, with no casualties. YASNO lost equipment stored for solar installations but said reserve stock would allow customer deliveries to continue. Ukrainian Railways said trains were running 12–15 hours late. At 13:24, the longest listed delay was 13 hours 22 minutes, and no long-distance train was cancelled.
The strikes halted operations at several postal, aid and retail sites. YASNO could continue deliveries from reserve stock, while prolonged rail disruption persisted.
The volume of destroyed aid and parcels, replacement sorting capacity, Fozzy reopening time, YASNO's final loss and rail recovery time remain unresolved.
Khortytsia distillery destroyed in Zaporizhzhia
Global Spirits told NV Business that the Khortytsia distillery was hit four times, burned for at least three hours and cannot be restored. The company said about 3–4 million bottles were destroyed or must be discarded. Zaporizhzhia regional authorities had earlier confirmed a hit on production premises and a fire.
One of Global Spirits' principal production facilities lost its entire operating capacity along with a large volume of finished products.
No information on production transfer, deliveries or the current workforce impact was available by 18:30.
