Lebanon reports 7 killed

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said Israeli strikes on September 6 killed 7 people and injured at least 20. The disused Ghandour hospital was destroyed and government offices damaged. US denies Iran’s vessel-hit claim

Iranian state media claimed a hit on an unmanned US vessel on September 6. CENTCOM spokesperson Tim Hawkins denied it. Iranian security council chief Mohsen Rezaei announced plans for a new exclusion zone outside the Strait of Hormuz. Its boundaries and effective date were not established; the plan is not an implemented closure.

Hospital sources: father and daughter killed

Al-Shifa Hospital sources told AP that a September 6 Israeli strike on a civilian car killed a father and daughter and injured at least 6 others. Israel said it struck a militant; the target’s identity was not verified. WAFA separately reported 1 killed and others injured in a later Al-Rimal strike.

Recovered remains buried

Remains of people killed in earlier attacks were buried in Gaza City on September 6. AP filmed the funeral and relayed rescuers’ count of over 110; WAFA reported around 100. The difference was not resolved. These are not new deaths on that day.

OPEC+: October output targets unchanged

Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman decided on September 6 to keep October output targets at September levels. OPEC confirmed the 7-country decision. The next meeting is October 4. The decision does not establish actual output or restored shipments through Hormuz.
